about me

Yesterday I received a homemade card from my dear 9 yo daughter, and I just now got around to reading it.

There's a heart with a smiley on the front - and when you open to read the inside, it says in wobbly crayon cursive:

"To the
biggest,
grumpiest,
Mom ever!

I(heart)U
UR the
BEST!"

...I think I need to change the "about me" section.

~~being the *sensitive* person that I am I am not sure how I would take this?
Was this good?
Just asking,
The part at the end makes it okay, I think.

Lol, I had something similar the other day.

Mummy I love you even when your [sic] cross.

I had to bite my tongue to control my obsession with people using the right -you're- because the note was so cute :)

Yeah, it was good, Deby. :) I asked her about it later and she meant it as a lovey joke.

That was the day that I posted my rant, to give the card a greater sense of perspective.

Linnet, the things I need to learn to bite my tongue about number in the hundreds. Doesn't matter how many Proverbs I memorize, I still struggle with Shutting. Up.
