Looks really good. I love wooden blinds too. Ours in the kitchen are plastic and I can't shut them now because the kids are slowly destroying them!
p.s. I have only just learned where 'call me Ishmael' is from. Wondered why you wanted to be called Ishmael, lol. It's the opening line from Moby Dick?
